I recently heard about a company that makes products for child feeding called Tommee Tippee. They have a line of bottles called Closer to Nature, which are supposed to mimic the feel and movement of mom's breast, as well as provide an easier latch. We are exclusive breastfeeders, so we don't use bottles very often. When we do, Bubba hates it. It is getting harder and harder to give him a bottle the longer we go without one. So when I heard about Tommee Tippee, I was eager to give them a try!
We received this 9oz bottle.
The Tommee Tippee nipple is the closest to a breast I have ever seen in shape, texture and movement. Bubba figured out how to use it pretty quickly. While Bubba, and most babies, can tell the difference between a bottle and a breast, I like that Tommee Tippee designed a bottle to make the transition between the two a little bit easier. They made these bottles for breastfeeding babies, and it's nice to know that there are bottle companies that can make a good product and still support breastfeeding.
A couple other bonus points: the bottle is BPA free, so you don't have to worry about any contaminates in the material. And, we never had any issues with leakage.
I am excited to have a new go-to bottle that I can count on without worrying about finding all the pieces or leaking through the vents or having to dispose of the liners. I will be sticking with Tommee Tippee from now on!
